SkyHigh Mount Dandenong is the perfect place to bring the whole family or a group of friends for an enticing Sunday buffet.
Every second week we alternate our buffet menu selection between our Australian Buffet and our traditional Indian Buffet.

Dining upstairs in our stylish function room, you will have spectacular views across Melbourne from the Mornington Peninsula to Mount Macedon and beyond.

Our Sunday Australian Buffet is all about celebration, sharing, choice and variety – something for everyone.
Our Australian Carvery Buffet includes seafood, succulent carvery roasts with all the trimmings, pasta, traditional favourites and a selection of fresh salads. Not to mention the delicious choice of dessert, fresh fruit or cheese board platters.

Our Sunday Indian Buffet is fit for a king and a must have for all occasions. Our menu is prepared in a traditional Indian way with all the essential spices and condiments and comprises of a kaleidoscopic of invigorating aromatic dishes. Spicy, sour, creamy, crunchy, and sweet dishes will whet your appetite and leave you craving for more.

Children 5 – 12 years old $35.00

Bring a group of 20 or more adults and we will take $10 off per person

The price includes tea and filter coffee but all other drinks are charged at our regular bar prices

Served banquet style at your table –
Chicken tikka, dhania chicken tikka: an Indian dish made by marinating pieces of chicken in spices and yoghurt, then put on skewers and baked
Amritsari fish: an Indian dish made by marinating pieces of fish in spices and yoghurt, then put on skewers and baked
Paneer pakora: marinated paneer dipped in a batter and fried (V)
Cocktail samosa: a deep fried snack with vegetable stuffing in a samosa sheets (V)


Mains

Served buffet style –
Chana masala: chickpeas cooked in a spicy and tangy tomato-based sauce(V)
Navratan korma: vegetable curry with nuts, paneer cheese and vegetables, in a tomato-cream sauce (V)
Butter chicken: chicken in a mildly spiced sweet tomato sauce.
Lamb rogan josh: braised with a gravy flavoured with garlic, onions, ginger and aromatic spices (cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, and cinnamon)

Raita: veg raita, boondi raita, masala raita
Plain rice (basmati rice) (V)
Saffron rice (basmati rice): saffron, white rice and also usually vegetable bouillon (V)


Desserts

Gulab jamun: deep fried balls made of milk powder, flour, butter and cream or milk, and then soaked in sugar syrup (Hot)
Carrot halwa: grated carrots, whole milk, dried fruit, and nuts, and it has a delicious light fudgy texture. (Hot)
Rasmalai: soft paneer balls immersed in chilled creamy milk, soaked in sweet, flavoured milk.(Cold)
Kulfi pista: frozen dessert made with condensed milk, flavored with cardamom, topped with pistachios (Cold)

Lamb seekh kabab: consists of spiced ground meat shaped onto skewers and grilled
Popcorn chicken: crispy chicken with spices
Chili paneer (Chinese style): stir fry of deep fried cottage cheese cubes with green capsicum, chili, onion, garlic and delicious Chinese sauces (V)
Manchurian (veg or cauliflower): made of mixed vegetable or cauliflower steamed formed into dumplings deep fried and cooked in a tangy sauce (V)


Mains

Served buffet style –
Dal makhani: a hearty, spicy, tomato-based dish of black lentils and rajma, or red kidney beans, usually slow-cooked with butter and some cream for a thick consistency and rich taste (V)
Paneer masala: a rich and delicious cottage cheese curry made in an onion-tomato-cashew base(V)
Chicken curry: Tomato based gravy with Indian masala
Biryani (vegetarian, chicken or lamb): bold and flavorful Indian rice dish with bell peppers, peas, carrots and potatoes in a spiced rice dish made with turmeric, garam masala and other warm spices
