SkyHigh Mount Dandenong is back to seated dining.

Our award winning SkyHigh bistro is available for coffee and kiosk items from 9.15am with plenty of outdoor seating, the new bistro lunch menu starts at 11am, just select a table and place your order at the counter (no bookings needed). We have a new and exciting pop up bar menu on the front lawn running from Friday to Sunday starting at 12pm and the SkyHigh restaurant is open for dinner from 5.30pm Friday to Sunday (bookings required). We also have food available at the maze cafe (weekends and school holidays).

Our upstairs function room, with spectacular floor to ceiling windows, is currently unavailable for large groups but please contact us if you are looking to have a party after restrictions are lifted. We can however cater for small private functions and wedding ceremonies.

SkyHigh is one of the most popular Dandenong Ranges attractions and has so much to offer for the whole family. Stroll through the beautiful landscaped gardens, take a forest walk under a canopy of Australian eucalypts, visit the Australiana Tree, or relax on the Giant’s Chair! We are the perfect place for a day trip.

We also have gas barbecues and plenty of lawn area including picnic tables for you to bring the family and enjoy a leisurely picnic in the sun. Victoria’s Chief Health Officer has said it is safe for parks and gardens to remain open, and remind you that they are here for you as a place to escape and enjoy nature, and help minimise any stress you may be feeling at the moment.
As an outdoor venue with plenty of fresh air, space and sunshine, the risk of Coronavirus remains low but we remind customers to wear masks, follow social distancing rules and limit your group to 10 people.

Summer is around 6 degrees cooler in the Dandenong ranges than the urban sprawl, so please come up now and enjoy the fresh air with the best outdoor seat in Melbourne (our giant’s chair), overlooking the city below. Pick up a coffee while you take walk around our magnificent English garden or bring a picnic and take the family through the SkyHigh Maze and support a local business. Feel free to bring your dog for a walk too but ensure you respect others and follow social distancing.

All areas of the cafe and toilets are regularly sanitised.
Indoor spaces have been cleared of all seating and are only used as a waiting area. Outdoor areas have seating for around 50 guests in each area. We have our bistro outdoor seating, maze cafe outdoor seating and lawn bar outdoor seating.
Doors will be propped open wherever possible to limit the number of door handles touched.
We ask customers to pay via tap and go rather than cash to limit the handling of cash by staff.
The outside toilet building is closed during the quiet periods but there are toilets in the main building.
