SkyHigh remains open but with new opening times and a few changes…
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff is our priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their continued welfare. SkyHigh is open from 11.15am during the week and from 9.15am at the weekend for takeaway food and drinks only. We also have a range of groceries and pantry items available for purchase along with ready meals for easy re-heat.
As with many businesses, we are actively monitoring the situation with regards the outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus and are in regular contact with health authorities.
In line with the latest announcements from the Australian Federal Government with regard to further travel bans and indoor mass gatherings of over 100 people, we are closely monitoring capacity and the number of people in our attractions and we have also placed an immediate stop on some of our upcoming events.
We know a lot of people are feeling anxious about Coronavirus at the moment, so we want to reassure you that Victoria’s Chief Health Officer has said it is safe for parks and gardens to remain open, and remind you that they are here for you as a place to escape and enjoy nature, and help minimise any stress you may be feeling at the moment.
As an outdoor venue with plenty of fresh air, space and sunshine, the risk of Coronavirus remains low. SkyHigh is a great place to come and walk your dog or escape the confines of your home or apartment.
However, if you are unwell or have any flu-like symptoms, please prioritise your health and that of the community, rest up and visit SkyHigh in a few weeks time when you’re better.
To ensure you can practice safe social-distancing and remain 1.5m away from each other and allow 4m2 per person inside our venue, The changes at SkyHigh include:
All immediate upcoming events, including children’s festival, have been cancelled.
All self serve waiter stations have been removed and we now only serve takeaway food and beverages.
All areas of the cafe and restaurant are regularly sanitised.
Indoor spaces have been converted to a produce store, selling a variety of fruit and veg along with pantry items.
Doors will be propped open wherever possible to limit the number of door handles touched.
We ask customers to pay via tap and go rather than cash to limit the handling of cash by staff.
Places to get food and drink, as well as our Maze remain open but we will be selling takeaway items only. We may need to restrict car entry at busy times to keep visitation below 500 people so we ask customers to spread their visitation times and come early (from 9.15am at the weekend) or come after 4pm (we are open until 7pm).
For further information, please refer and adhere to the advice given by your local health authority, VIC Department of Health and Human Services.
Rest assured, we will continue to act quickly should we be required to do so and will take all necessary precautions to protect the welfare of our guests and staff.
We ask all our guests to observe high standards of personal hygiene whilst visiting SkyHigh. There are simple things you can do to help prevent the spread of the virus, including:
Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
Putting used tissues in the bin immediately
Washing your hands with soap and hot water regularly, and using hand sanitiser gel
Trying to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

Throughout SkyHigh, we have washrooms in the main building for guests, and we politely ask that you use them regularly.

Please use the form below if you wish further information on anything to do with Coronavirus and SkyHigh.
