The SkyHigh Maze is a horticultural delight!  The main hedges are Syzygium australe (lilly pilly) and were planted in October 2004.  Various arbours through out the maze provide support for a variety of climbers, such as the climbing rose ‘Pierre de Ronsard’, evergreen deciduous Clematis, Wisteria and native Wonga vine.

The history of mazes dates back many thousands of years to Knossos in Ancient Crete, as a prison for the hapless minotaur.  Today mazes are spread throughout the world, the most famous being Hampton court maze in England.
